I’ve just finished integrating the latest version into my portfolio site. Version 1.3.2 supports category filtering via a passed URL parameter and matches that parameter to the defined category list. Demo it here and download it from Github here.
New in this version is category filtering based on your own, customized tag list. It’s coming soon to my portfolio site, but you can demo it here and download it for your personal use here.
The advisory is pretty light on details as far as the exact nature of the vulnerabilities this patch addresses (ie. attack vector, associated malware / trojans). However, if you’re running CF 9 through CF 10, you may want to look into this.
I’ve updated the portfolio section of my website to TumblGallery 1.2.2. This version has added a scrolling pagination between page sets as well as optimized the in-modal browsing between images. Filtering based on tags is next in the pipeline, so pardon the dust!
In using Tumblr as the platform for my portfolio, I’ve discovered that I’m not a huge fan with the tools available on the custom theme level. There are inconsistencies between what an individual photo and a photoset have access too. So, I built a basic gallery page using the Tumblr API. Feel free to fork it, customize it, and generally do whatever you want with it. I’ll be integrating it into my site soon.
